INWOOD SOCCER CAMP

New York, USA

The YDF partnered with Intercampus and Uptown soccer to organize free training sessions to children in Inwood, which is located in the northern part of Manhattan, New York. From 2014 to 2017, four coaches came together twice a week to train over 100 children. Players from the age of 6 to 13 were divided into skill-based groups. They worked on the technical and physical aspect of football.

After the success of our first summer camp, the YDF decided to launch a 6-week long football program focused on developing soccer skills and various “Life Skill” workshops that help children understand the values of soccer.

UNICEF REFUGEE CAMP

Athens, Greece

The YDF and UNICEF partnered to provide a football training camp to refugee and migrant children in Athens, with a particular attention to unaccompanied children.

The program ran for 8 weeks, starting June 18, 2018.

THE

PALM CUP

Gustavia, St. Barthélemy

Created in 2012, the Palm Cup was a week-long event organized on the beautiful island of St. Barthelemy. The highlight of this program was a football game that brings together a local team against a team of professional players.

This gala match enabled young players and fans to see some of their favorite players in action. This event of international scope became a platform for exchange and conviviality between the Palm Cup ‘champions’ and its participants.
